About this study
The ImmuneRACE study is designed to help researchers understand the immune response to COVID-19. This is critically important because the immune system may be able to tell us important information about how our own bodies detect and respond to the virus that could inform better diagnostics, treatments and vaccines.

We read the genetic code of the immune cell receptors in the samples.
We apply data algorithms to find the immune cell receptors that recognize the disease.
These insights may help create better diagnostic tests and improve our knowledge of COVID-19.

Why Study Immune Response?
Your immune system is made up of specialized cells that can identify very small amounts of a virus as soon as it enters your body. By developing a test that recognizes these cells, we may enable earlier and more accurate detection of COVID-19 than current diagnostic tests, a critical step forward in the fight to contain COVID-19 in the future.
